Old Jet

I was poking around in the box of junk in the linen press in preparation for cleaning it out when I came across the bits and pieces of this old toy jet..



Changing the Clothesline

Well, Chris and Mum thought it might be a good idea to get a new clothesline, since the old one was pretty knackered. I finally got around to taking another trailer load of rubbish to the tip and came home with a new clothesline from Bunnings..



Adding the Rail

So I added a rail. Mum wanted a rail.
I figured I’d need to make up some posts with flat bases that could be bolted to the floor, with some kind of handrail attached..



Changing the Ramp

Ever since Mum got out of hospital I’ve noticed that the transition from the garage floor to the ramp was really not very safe. The way the ramp went out from the door into the house straight down to the garage floor meant that Mum was having to navigate around the side of the ramp...

When Mum went into hospital and it was looking like we’d need to shuffle furniture around, she asked me to put the sofa in my room up for sale and move her recliner there in its place...



New 3D Printer

On our way back from Perth, Chris asked me about 3D printers. I haven’t kept up on the 3D printer market, but he said he wanted to try and make some historical Cornish fishing vessels for his railway modelling...



Outdoor Bench

After my employer decided to sell the property in August or whenever, they asked me to pull down the fence along the roadside. It was actually a pretty easy job...



Charging Station

For a while, Chris has been worried about lithium ion batteries suddenly going up in smoke and setting fire to everything. Now, the risk is real but there’s probably not a lot we can do about it since there are so many items in the house with Li Ion batteries...

I fixed the problem with the motor wiring harness on Spot X by physically reordering the pins in the cable. Did I get it right? Well, no of course not...
