So , here’s the thing. I’ve already mentioned that this site is sitting here not being used. But here’s the other thing. I’ve got another WordPress blog that I use to journal with on my (Mum’s) home server.
Sure it’s fun writing up posts to tell yourself about what you’ve done, but I kinda think I want more. I want other people to have the opportunity to see me talking to myself and, maybe, say “hey dude, stop talking to yourself, stop being weird, get some help.”
Maybe that’s what I’ll do. Maybe I’ll keep writing locally, but also mirror my posts here.
After all, isn’t that what everyone is saying these days? “Get off social media”, they say. “Self host your own website”, they say. “Take back the web from the soulless corporations”, they say. So sure , perhaps I’ll bite. If nothing else, this can be my tribute to the insatiable appetite of our new AI overlords.
